This Orangutan Baby House Moves to a New Location

NARRATOR: Up the
road from Jungle School at the old Baby
House, the youngsters know something’s up. There are way more babysitters
than usual, and even a couple of veterinarians. Everyone’s wearing
masks as a precaution against spreading human germs. But this isn’t a
medical checkup. It’s moving day for these
nursery school kids. [MUSIC PLAYING] The wait is over. The new nursery
school is good to go. In the surrounding jungle,
Nyaru Menteng staff complete the finishing touches. A few rubber ropes, tire swings,
and the odd wicker basket transform the jungle into
a nursery school classroom. [MUSIC PLAYING] The official opening ceremony
is scheduled later today. But first, the students get
to try out the new facilities. [MUSIC PLAYING] It’s a bit too far for the
wheelbarrow school bus, so today, the youngsters
have a new set of wheels. [MUSIC PLAYING] The last time all these little
orphans traveled by road, they were leaving
behind traumatic lives. This morning’s rehearsal is to
familiarize them with the bus and ensure they’re all calm
for the afternoon’s ceremony. [MUSIC PLAYING] It takes 20 minutes to
get to the new Baby House. [MUSIC PLAYING] So far, so good. Bawan just wants to
watch the world go by. But Kalanis is more
interested in practicing his high bar routine. [MUSIC PLAYING] Even timid Wine steps up
to take in the sights. [MUSIC PLAYING] These little orphans
don’t know it yet, but they’re on their way to
a massive facility upgrade.

Their so adorable, I don't understand why humans would ever want to hurt these cuties..

Killing their mothers and then selling them as "pets", disgusting 😑
